Space: Dare to Dream provides a hands-on exploration of the history of manned spaceflight, from ancient times through the Apollo program. The exhibit is produced by Evergreen Exhibitions in educational collaboration with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).

o The purpose of Dare to Dream is to present educational elements in scenic environments that will fuel the imagination and build new dreams for the future of space exploration. While totally immersing visitors in the exciting scenic elements, the exhibit also features live performances, child-friendly interactives, and state-of-the-art projection and audio technology to bring this epic story to life.  Highlights include opportunities to visit Galileo’s studio, view artifacts from the visionaries and inventors who developed early space technologies, and experience lift-off on Saturn V—which first carried astronauts to the Moon.

o Leading science centers across the country have served on an educational committee for the exhibit, along with representatives from NASA, NSTA and partners Lockheed Martin and General Motors to ensure accuracy and relevance in the exhibit’s educational message.

o The exhibit contains a strong educational component geared towards children ages 9 – 17.  A teacher’s activity guide that complements the exhibit and additional educational downloads are provided on the exhibit’s official website, www.spaceexhibit.com.
