Museum Aircraft

The Museum has on display a wide-range of aircraft, both military and civilian. These include fighters, trainers, transport and specialized types flown by the United States Air Force (USAF) and Navy during the 60 year period from 1940 to 2000. Many of the aircraft are on loan from the National Museum of the USAF and National Museum of Naval Aviation. The collection highlights the incredible diversity of technological innovation that characterized this period of aerospace development. From low sub-sonic, propeller driven bi-planes made of cloth-covered wooden structures to triple-sonic, jet powered aerospace vehicles constructed of advanced metals and composite materials; the rapid advance in aircraft design during that era is visible and waiting for all to explore at the Museum.  We are continually expanding our collection with more recent civilian and military aircraft and space vehicles. This is just a sampling of what we have on display…come visit the Museum to learn, explore and experience the displays in person.
