The Museum has a strong and growing education program based on providing hands-on, practical experiences related to math, science, technology and engineering for students from elementary to community college.
The Aerospace Learning Center has hosted thousands of students and gives them an appreciation for how science, technology, engineering and math can be used in aviation.
Additionally, throughout the year the Museum hosts special presentations and guest speakers such as NASA Astronauts, Clayton Anderson and Brian Duffy.
Currently we have the following programs available. For additional information, please email education@aerospaceca.org.
Aerospace Learning Center Programs – Students learn about and experience new technologies, which will excite them about aviation, technology, engineering, science and math. The main class is designed to be an introduction to flight. Subjects covered are weather, forces of lift, navigation, instrumentation and GPS technology using computer simulators and software. Each student will have the opportunity to pilot an aircraft using a non-motion flight simulator.
Summer Camps - We are expanding our summer camp offering in 2012. Click here for more information.
All program curriculums meet the California Education Standards.
The Museum would like to thank U.S. Bank for its continued support of our education programs and Kids Zone.
